ONCE WHEN I WAS YOUNG (Leon Rosselson)
Over the years, I have recorded quite a few songs by Leon Rosselson, who I think is one of the best song writers in the English language of the past fifty years. The quality, quantity and variety of his writing is exceptional. I have carried this song, with its powerful depiction of an alienated, dystopian world, in my head, ever since I first heard it several decades ago.
